Spring Assisted Kitchen Shears are the original spring shear designed and manufactured for kitchen and restaurant use. Jero shears are copied by many brands, but Jero is still the only brand using quality stainless steel, commercial grade polymers and extra heavy-duty replaceable spring. For many years Jero produced this shear for a well known US based kitchen utensil brand. When that company decided to drop Jero for a lower cost manufactured, Jero decided to continue manufacturing this popular shear. Jero still manufacturers this shear in their modern manufacturing facility located in Portugal. In 2020 the blade edges were improved to lower drag, while still maintaining the self-sharpening ability.

Lifetime guarantee against defects in the materials and workmanship, and excludes misuse or abuse. Scissors must be used as designed. Shears designed for regular kitchen duties, and not designed and constructed for garden or agriculture use, or prying. Replacement springs are available for a small fee to cover mailing.
