The Concavo Slicer was designed in the US over nearly two years of testing with BBQ restaurants, delis, and BBQ competition teams. The goal was to produce a high-quality knife that performed well, was easy to control, and was budget-friendly. Blades are constructed of a high-carbon stainless steel sourced in Germany and used by many of the higher-priced knife brands. The hollow areas along the side of the blade (concavos) reduce friction by reducing the surface area that comes into contact with the product being sliced. The wide blade helps slice straight and holds the product together. The large handle is easy to grip and easy to clean. The poly handle is impact and temperature-resistant, and is injection molded onto the blade and tang for added strength. Made in Portugal by JERO in their modern factory.
